On Friday October 18, 2013 a Carrollton Kawasaki customer had an unfortunate encounter with a bike thief. This customer stopped off at a friend's house around 7:30pm to catch a movie or two. All was well until the first flick was finished. After the movie the customer went out to his bike just to make sure everything was "good". He must have had a feeling because as he walked outside he realized his bike was GONE. This customer contacted MOGO and the recovery process began.
MOGO coordinated with the local PD to relay the current location of the motorcycle, there was a problem though. The bike was traveling East on I30 at around 95mph. This is where this theft took a wild turn, police helicopters got involved. Once the helicopters located the offender the speeds of the stolen bike exceeded 110mph. MOGO was able to pinpoint the exit the thief took when he decided to get off the interstate. Once this information was relayed to the ground crew the Hunt
County Sheriff's Dpt was able to catch up and apprehend the offender. The bike was recovered at 11pm with no damage and was reunited with it's rightful owner.
Thanks to the great folks at Kawasaki of Carrollton for believing in MOGO and protecting their customers with the latest in recovery and tracking technology
