Costly Trip to the Car Wash

A McCombs Ford West customer who proudly owns a 2010 Ford F150 had forgettable start to the holiday weekend. At 4:15pm on Dec.24, 2010 MOGO recieved a call from this customer saying that his vehicle had been stolen from his condo. The customer stated he had been out grabbing last minute gifts and getting his truck washed then returned home to catch a nap. When he woke up he went out to his truck to grab some things and thats when his holidays turned sour. MOGO reacted with quickness and located his truck. After talking with the San Antonio PD it was determined using MOGO online tracking that the truck had been moved directly from this customers home to the impound lot. Sure he had made all neccessary car payments the customer was confused as to why his vehicle was towed. After contacting security it was indeed them who had towed his truck for illegal parking. Turns out this customer had forgotten to put his proof of residency sticker back on after his visit to the car wash. The customer got his truck back an hour and a half later without a single scratch, although it cost him $200 in towing fees. But hey, it could always be worse.

Thanks to the great folks at McCombs Ford West fo believing in MOGO and protecting their customers with the latest in recovery and tracking technology.

What the fuck, Chuck? Let's create an iPhone app that allows users to instantly find their vehicle, track the speed a Valet is parking your car, or see where you parked it, IN REAL TIME!!!! Make this user friendly! The website is too difficult to navigate through. Also, let the app allow users instant access to put a preset fence (500 foot circular perimeter) around say, a place you get your oil changed? Then we can see if one of the grease monkey's takes your car for a joy ride!!!!
