MOGO System Helps Recover GMC Sierra

On Sunday December 7, 2014 at 11:32 am MOGO received a call from a Classic of Carrollton customer stating that his truck was stolen from his driveway sometime during the night. The last time the customer had seen his vehicle was around midnight when he went out to grab his glasses that he had left in the vehicle. He went to bed never thinking that his truck wouldn't be there in the morning. When he woke up and saw that his vehicle was gone he immediately called the police and MOGO. MOGO's recovery team went into action tracking his GMC down, and ended up recovering it with the help of Carrollton PD. The customers truck was found parked a few miles from his house and was abandoned. The police said the thieves were stealing vehicles to strip what was inside them. Luckily the customer had a system like MOGO to help him get his truck back so fast, otherwise it could have been much worse.

Gone Fishing

One afternoon MOGO received a phone call from a customer saying her husband was diabetic and she wasn't able to reach him all day. MOGO's recovery team immediately located her husband and stayed on the phone with the customer until she arrived at his location. Once she arrived she saw him fishing, and as she got closer she realized he was in need of medical attention and called 911. The rest is a happily ever after story, and a warning to take your meds consistently even when fishing.

Downtown Party Ends Up Being Towed

On September 6th MOGO received a strange call. A customer had been downtown the previous night and couldn't find her vehicle. She decided to take a cab back home, and try looking for her vehicle the next morning. When she arrived to the area the next day she realized that someone had stolen her vehicle. She immediately called MOGO, and we tracked it and had found that it was at the San Antonio impound. The customer was relieved to know her vehicle wasn't gone forever, even though a night of fun costed her $200 to get her vehicle back. She told us it was worth it! Another satisfied MOGO customer.

Movie Night Turns Into High Speed Chase

On Friday October 18, 2013 a Carrollton Kawasaki customer had an unfortunate encounter with a bike thief. This customer stopped off at a friend's house around 7:30pm to catch a movie or two. All was well until the first flick was finished. After the movie the customer went out to his bike just to make sure everything was "good". He must have had a feeling because as he walked outside he realized his bike was GONE. This customer contacted MOGO and the recovery process began.
MOGO coordinated with the local PD to relay the current location of the motorcycle, there was a problem though. The bike was traveling East on I30 at around 95mph. This is where this theft took a wild turn, police helicopters got involved. Once the helicopters located the offender the speeds of the stolen bike exceeded 110mph. MOGO was able to pinpoint the exit the thief took when he decided to get off the interstate. Once this information was relayed to the ground crew the Hunt
County Sheriff's Dpt was able to catch up and apprehend the offender. The bike was recovered at 11pm with no damage and was reunited with it's rightful owner.
